Do you love football and have a passion for media? Derbyshire FA is excited to announce the launch of our Media Volunteer Programme for the 2024/25 season, and we’re looking for creative and enthusiastic individuals to join us in telling the story of grassroots football across the county.

Whether you’re an aspiring journalist, a budding videographer, or just someone with a keen interest in football and content creation, this is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and get hands-on experience in sports media.

As a media volunteer, you’ll have the chance to:

• Attend local football matches and events to capture exciting moments on camera.
• Write match reports, feature articles, and conduct interviews with players, coaches, and volunteers.
• Help manage Derbyshire FA’s social media channels by creating engaging online content.
• Get involved in filming and editing videos that highlight the very best of grassroots football in Derbyshire.

Volunteers will be able to work alongside experienced staff, receive guidance on content production, and build a portfolio of work that will be published across Derbyshire FA’s digital platforms. This is an incredible way to not only gain valuable experience but also contribute to the promotion of local football.
